How to write good email subject lines?

Posted by Bizversity

Want to know how to make your email subject lines simply irresistible? First off, keep it short and sweet. More and more emails are being opened on mobile, so you need to keep the subject line to the point. Often, using a question in the subject line will entice the user to open the email to find out the answer. Make sure you send your email from a familiar name. Do not, and I repeat do not use “[email protected]” For instance, HubSpot found that emails sent from “Maggie Georgieva, HubSpot” performed better than emails sent from just “HubSpot.” You should also personalise the emails where possible. Example: “John Sample, we really wanted to show you this…”. Some final tips: don’t make false promises, don’t tell them the contents of the email, time it right and no CAPS.
