What does Synergize Mean? Definition or Meaning

Posted by Bizversity

You might have heard the saying “many hands make light work”. Essentially, this idiom is talking about the ease with which tasks can be achieved if people or teams work together. Said another way, this means they cooperate with each other to achieve the same goal, or in synergy.

For example…

When complementary businesses like a computer repair shop and a computer parts reseller combine, they would be in search of synergy. In other words, the reseller can rely on the repair functionality offered by their partner to ensure continuity of service and therefore increase customer loyalty and ultimately the bottomline. For the repair shop, their technicians will benefit from the larger customer base and opportunity to offer service across the reseller’s breadth of products, also assisting the joint bottomline.
