Amanda Bracks is the Director of Bracks Consulting and the author of “Customer Acquisition: 465 Ways to Gain and Retain Customers” and “Changing Lives: A Hands On Approach to Successfully Selling Health Club Memberships”.
She has been inspiring small business owners from many different industries as well as fitness business owners, managers and their teams in new client acquisition, operations, sales and retention since 1995.
Amanda has personally managed many retail and fitness businesses growing them from virtually nothing, and sometimes from a massive loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars, into a profit of millions of dollars in a short period of time. She has sold over 20,000 memberships and PT packages and spends her time showing clubs how to generate leads, implement systems and grow their business.
She has won many business awards along the way including Australian Fitness facility of the Year and NSW Club Manager of the Year.
Amanda has given back to her industry judging numerous awards in Australia and NZ, served on association marketing committees and was a board member for the Fitness NSW association. She has been the course creator of the AIF Diploma in Fitness Sales and has been a mentor to thousands of salespeople, reception team, group fitness managers, personal trainers and businesses owners. She is a professional business presenter in Australia, USA, New Zealand, China and India and writes articles for fitness and business publications.
Amanda has consulted to the CEO’s and trained the teams of personal training businesses including a franchise delivering 14,000 training sessions per week, privately owned clubs, yoga studios, and some of the world’s largest chains such as Re-Creation, YMCA, Fernwood Fitness, Healthy Inspirations, Snap Fitness and Gold’s Gym. She is also a business owner of a yoga and Pilates studio in Sydney.
