Charlotta Oberg has lived and worked in 15 countries on three continents. For two decades, she has resourced thousands of leaders around the world, from Australia to China to Sweden, with Cultural Intelligence. Her vision is for people to connect, succeed and thrive in their global village.

Currently, Charlotta focuses on equipping public and private sector organisations to capitalise on the rising wealth of BRIC nations and the richness of multicultural Australia. She is a co-founder of ConnectingChina, creating cultural insights to support China opportunities, and of the leadership program Mindfulness for the Global Village.

Charlotta also coaches expat CEOs to deploy their leadership in their local market, as well as senior politicians on missions abroad. Her career includes consulting work with large multinationals, SMEs and the International Criminal Court. She is a master trainer and coach.

Previously she worked for the Swedish local government as a cultural diversity advisor, where she was awarded an EU project on Cultural Competence. She has also headed up the London office of global mindset development company AperianGlobal, for whom she now acts as senior consultant and Australia representative.

She contributes to cultural tools and publications, and speaks at a wide variety of events, from the Australia-China Business Week in Shanghai, Sydney and Melbourne to Early Childhood Education Conferences around Australia.

Charlotta holds a Masters Degree in Social Science with a focus on intercultural communication, and is a certified coach. She grew up in Sweden, has lived and worked around the world, including Malaysia, China and the US, and now enjoys living in Sydney with her trilingual family.
