Franziska is a maverick entrepreneur, leading marketing strategist, speaker, author and the co-founder BasicBananas.com (Australia’s leading marketing training organisation), Oceanlovers.global, YoursSocially.com, TheBusinessHood.com and Impacteurs.com. In 2013 Franziska was awarded the NSW Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognising her innovation, creativity and philanthropic involvement.
A true visionary, no challenge seems to be too big for Franziska. She is known for her rebellious nature and challenging the norm. She has this rare combination of being both creative and strategic, which makes her a powerful thought leader in the business world.
As a Swiss-born Aussie, she has also been known to make up a few words, which keeps everyone amused and engaged. She has an amazing ability to forecast and execute strategies with precision results like a Swiss clock.
Franziska is the author of the bestselling book PERCEPTION – Take charge of how others view your brand, become irresistible and make a bigger impact and Bananas About Marketing – How to Attract a Whole Bunch of Clients. She also contributes to various publications including The Huffington Post.
Franziska is regularly featured across the media including Forbes, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, SmartCompany, Dynamic Business Magazine, Marie-Claire, Online Entrepreneur Magazine, BRW, 2UE, Channel 9.
The key to Franziska’s success is her down-to-earth attitude, her integrity and fearlessness to take the lead and challenge the status quo.
A sharp-witted humour that can bring anyone to tears (of laughter), the ability to speak five languages and a desire to have everything done yesterday ensures her businesses stay at the forefront of marketing worldwide. She sure doesn’t accept mediocrity and always finds ways to do things better.
Franziska is a big believer in social business and is always on the lookout for social projects. Basic Bananas was the first business in Australia to be granted the right to adopt a whale. On one of her recent trips, Franziska also adopted a Mongolian horse and is sponsoring underprivileged children in South Africa to be able to get an education.
Franziska is an adventure and travel addict. From living in Costa Rica at age sixteen, studying music at the Swiss Jazz School during high school, to working in a windsurfing school in Egypt to writing papers at the Swiss embassy in South Africa at twenty-two, Franziska has travelled to more places than her years on the planet.
In her spare time, she loves surfing, playing musical instruments in her band Salty Lips, learning new things and spending time with family and friends. She comes up with new ideas all the time if only there was more time to implement them all.
