How do I create an Ecommerce checkout flow that converts?

Posted by Bizversity

One of the biggest challenges of running a sales based website is getting customers all the way through the checkout. Here are some quick tips for a flow that converts:

  • A clearly visibly ‘Add to cart’ button’
  • Include the ability for shoppers to quickly review the contents of their cart
  • Make recommendations for similar products
  • Make your checkout process as straightforward, simple and reliable as possible, with more than one option for payment. Think about sites like Amazon and ASOS and how easy it is to buy from them.

If possible, add an email flow that reminds customers they have abandoned their cart and provides them with an incentive for coming back and completing their purchase.
